Jazz Basketball

This cake is for my nephew Chase. When I took his mom's cake to her (Chanel Handbag) I asked him what he was going to do for his birthday. He responded, "umm, I want a basketball cake." So how could I not deliver:) He is turning 4 and he and his Dad are huge Jazz fans. I made this cake with 2 9" round cakes carved to allow the ball to sit inside. I used a ball cake pan for the basketball. The backboard was made from 1/4" plywood. I covered it in fondant. I used my Cricut Cake machine to cut out the Jazz logo. This cake was surprisingly easy and so fun to make. I can't wait for the little guy to see it!

Coach handbag and People Magazine!

I made this cake for my aunt Kathy's birthday. She always has a black coach handbag and her People magazine with her. I used my new cricut cake to cut out the C's, the flowers, and the word People. I love it. The cake is vanilla pound cake with butter cream filling. I used Marshmallow Fondant to cover it. The details are gum paste.

Diet Coke Cake

My Aunt Laurie lives for Diet Coke. Truth be told all the ladies in my family live for Diet Coke. So for Laurie's birthday I decided to surprise her with a cake. It was so fun to make!

Chanel Handbag

For my sister-in-law's birthday I decided on this handbag made by Chanel. We have been lusting after this handbag for over a year now. It is priced around $3500.00. So this is the closest we will be getting to it:)
